Salient achievements:

Dr. J. Rajendhran has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience in Microbiology and Microbial Genomics. He has identified a novel penicillin acylase producing Bacillus badius strainand developed recombinant strains for the production of β-lactam intermediate. Recently, he has identified a novel antifungal peptide from marine metagenomic library. Presently, his research is focused on Metagenomics for novel Antimicrobials, Microbial Genomics of Brucella and Listeria.
